Yesterday the sun was shining, so James and I decided to swap our morning swim to one in the river Avon in the evening. We headed down to check out the sea, but it was a bit too choppy, so we walked round to the boathouse as per last week's swim. The tide was going out of the river, which meant for an endless pool type scenario - swim against and go no-where, perfect for training. We found some steps to another boathouse in an eddy and filmed each other swimming to diagnose our strokes - James v Cat - he definately wins hands down for a relaxed consistent stroke, I look like I am drowning!!
We topped this off with an hour run from Bantham round South Milton sands, then back to Bantham via the coastal path, brilliant fun ;-)
